UPSC Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is searching for qualified and experienced Indian applicants to fill out the post of Driller-in-Charge in the department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation. According to the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, applicants for the aforementioned position should not be older than 30 years old as of the regular closing date. Other Backward Class candidates must be under the age of 33 on the customary closing date for the seats earmarked for them.

There are a total number of 06 vacancies available for the aforementioned position.

Qualification for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the applicant required the essential qualifications mentioned below-

  • The candidates should have a degree in Drilling/Mining/Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering/Petroleum Engineering from a University recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resources Development, All India Council for Technical Education, University Grants Commission, Indira Gandhi National Open University or State Government.
  • The candidates should have 01-year experience in the operation and maintenance of drilling rigs. OR
  • The candidates should have a diploma in Drilling/Mining/Mechanical/Civil/Electrical /Petroleum Engineering from a University recognized by the Government of India, the Ministry of Human Resources Development, All India Council for Technical Education, University Grants Commission, Indira Gandhi National Open University or State Government.
  • The candidates should have 05 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of drilling rigs.

Age Limit and Relaxation for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

Referring to the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidates for the mentioned position should not exceed 30 years as of the normal closing date. Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Class candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central Government Servants for upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.

Pay Scale for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, those chosen will be given a monthly salary of Pay Band-2 Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade pay Rs. 4800 Level 8 in Pay Matrix (Rs. 47600 to Rs. 151100 as per 7th CPC). 

Place of Posting for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

As informed in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be posted in CGWB, CHQ, Faridabad (Haryana) with All India service liability.
