Govt. appoints Deputy Managing Director in National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development

The Government of India has notified the appointment of Shri Goverdhan Singh Rawat and Shri Ajay Kumar Sood as Deputy Managing Director in National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development via issuing Notification.

The Notification Stated:

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of section 6 of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Act, 1981 (61 of 1981), the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Goverdhan Singh Rawat (DoB: 01.04.1970), CGM, NABARD as Deputy Managing Director, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development for a period of 05 years with effect from the taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, against the 1st vacancy which arose on 07.12.2022.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of section 6 of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Act, 1981 (61 of 1981), the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Ajay Kumar Sood (DoB: 15.08.1967), CGM, NABARD as Deputy Managing Director, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development with effect from the taking over charge of the post till his superannuation i.e. 31.08.2027 or until further orders, whichever is earlier against the 2nd vacancy which arose on 01.08.2023.
