Qualification for IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024:

As mentioned in the official notification of IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024, the necessary essential qualifications of the candidates are shown below:
For JRF (GATE)-

• The applicants must have a post-graduate degree in Life Science/Biotechnology or a Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Allied subjects OR a Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in a Professional Course selected through a process described by any one of the following: 1. Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET Including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. 2. The selection Process through the National Level Exam conducted by the Central Govt. Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOs, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc, IISCR etc. Candidates having hands-on experience in Plant Molecular Biology, Rice Tissue Culture and Phenotyping will be given preference.

For Project Assistant-

• The candidates should have a BSc in Life Sciences with experience in plant tissue culture, and hardening rice plants.

Pay Scale for IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024:

In accordance with the official notification of IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024, the selected applicant’s salaries are mentioned below:

For JRF (GATE)-

• The chosen candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.36580.

For Project Assistant-

• The chosen candidates will be paid a pay recommended of Rs.20000 and Rs. 3600 HRA required. 

Tenure for IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024:

Referring to the official notification for IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024, the appointment of the candidates will be for a period of 06 months.

Selection Procedure for IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024:

According to the official notification of IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024, the selection will be based on the performance of the candidate at the interview. Candidates will not be sent any call letter. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the test and interview. No campus accommodation will be available for the selected candidates.
