Overview:

UBS is hiring an experienced ETD Trade & Processing Specialist at their Hyderabad location. The Exchange Traded Derivatives Brokerage group is seeking to fill a Reconciler & Controller position that requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical and technical skills. The team is controlling brokerage related fees and main responsibilities include sending monthly invoices to counterparts, brokerage fees reconciliation, active and regular communication with counterparts, brokerage collections, month end close tasks, variance and trend analysis, invoice reconciliation, payments, and liaison with finance counterparts during monthly accounting cycles. The role also includes active contribution to automation and optimization of current processes, and harmonization/standardization of processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate should be able to:

• You will be responsible for controlling of exchange and clearing brokerage fee related expenses.
• Reconciliation between internal and external (exchange) trade details.
• Month-end close activities (variance analysis, agree and sign off sub ledger balances).
• Interact with internal controllers, technology other operation groups, external brokers/clients, and traders to resolve any trade related issues.
• Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests to Business units.
• Interaction with Exchange & CCP contacts to resolve issues/raise queries.
• Working closely with global counterparts to resolve reconciliation breaks and issues.
• Candidate Should be flexible to work in any shift as per business requirement.

Your expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related fields.
• Interest in Banking and Financial markets.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts is an added advantage.
• Confident spoken and written English.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing responsibilities, work under pressure, meet challenging deadlines and capability to build and maintain effective business relationships.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, especially the use of MS Office Excel.
• Pro-active attitude.
• Good Team Player
