Breaking: Haryana Board to take Re-Examination of Class 10 Board Exam: BSEH Chairman

The chairman of the Board of School Education Haryana, Ved Parkash Yadav in a press release revealed the schedule for re-examinations for the subjects that were cancelled at three exam centres located in District Nuh.

An extensive cheating scandal surfaced at a school in the Nuh area of Haryana during the Class 10 board exam. A web-based entertainment video showed people scaling the school walls to give notes to understudies who were sitting for board exams.

V P Yadav was notified that the English Class 10 exam for the Hindu Higher Secondary School, Nuh-05 (B-2) centre, and the Aarohi Model Higher Secondary School, Revasan, was cancelled.

The board has implemented strict measures, such as the installation of CCTV cameras and command and control centres at the board headquarters, to address the issue of cheating. In order to successfully prevent misconduct, question papers now include hidden security elements like alphanumeric and QR codes.

He added that the NDA, Baded, Firozpur Jhirka, examination centre’s Class 12 English core subject and the NDA, Udaka, examination centre’s history exam had been cancelled. On April 16, 2024, the aforementioned subjects will be reexamined at Hindu University’s Nuh-05 (B-2) examination centre.

He said that the concerned school heads have also been notified via phone and email regarding this matter. The exams will take place from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., and candidates must arrive at the centre thirty minutes early, at 12:00, in order to avoid being denied entry.

To the exam site, students must bring their school ID and Aadhar card. It is mandatory for students to show up for the exam dressed for school. Books, cheats, notes and electronic devices are not permitted for students to bring inside the exam room.
