RRB Group D 2024: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are soon expected to release the RRB Group D 2024 notification in October/December. The recruitment will open to fill up the posts of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical and S&T departments), Assistant Pointsman, and Level-1 posts in other departments of Indian Railways. Candidates who fulfil all the eligibility criteria as will be mentioned in the official notification will need to fill out the application forms online in order to apply for the RRB Group D 2024 recruitment.
In accordance with the RRB Group D 2024 eligibility, candidates must have an age between 18 to 33 years in order to fil in the application forms. Candidates who are willing to apply for the technical departments should have passed Class 10 (High School) and have National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by National Council for Vocational Training. Candidates who have passed Class 10 and ITI will be considered eligible to appear in the exam. The selection process of the RRB Group D 2024 will include Computer Based Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST), Document Verification and Medical Exam. Questions from General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness and Current Affairs are included in the RRB Group D CBT exam schedule. The exam lasts for 90 minutes. The exam has a total of 100 marks. Candidates receive one mark in the CBT for each right answers. For incorrect answers, one-third of the mark is lost. The CBT exam has qualifying marks. The exam’s structure is listed below.
