NIT NIRF Ranking 2024: The National Institutes of Technology (NIT) are independent engineering institutions that provide a range of engineering-related undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degree programs. There are a total of 31 NITs. They are all included in the category of independent public higher education institutes in India. Of the thirty-one NITs, twenty are older engineering schools and eleven are very new.
On August 11, the Ministry of Education will declare which Indian institutions and colleges rank highest according to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2024). 8,688 institutions signed up for the previous year’s NIRF rankings. To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech/BArch/BPlanning courses at NITs and other prestigious institutions like IITs/IIITs and CFTIs, a candidate must meet the minimum requirements of a 75 percent aggregate score in the class 12 board examination or rank in the top 20 percentile in 10 2 or any comparable exam.
