The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released a clear and reassuring statement that the CA Intermediate May 2025 exams will proceed as planned, despite student concerns and conjectures that the exams may be disrupted by ongoing Civil Defense mock drills in multiple cities.

“The CA Intermediate May 2025 examination will be conducted as scheduled,” the ICAI announced in an official email issued to candidates earlier today. For today’s paper, it is recommended that you arrive at the testing location promptly. Concerns regarding possible delays or cancellations due to traffic restrictions or disruptions brought on by the simulated drills are specifically addressed in the notification.

Following extensive social media discussion and viral posts suggesting that exam locations or times may be impacted, the clarification was made. But those rumors have been dispelled by ICAI’s statement.
