RRB Notifies NTPC Exam Dates, CBT 1 Exam to Commence from June 5

RRB NTPC Exam 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially declared the dates for the RRB NTPC Examinations 2025. The official notice was issued on May 13, 2025. The exam scheduled has been updated on the regional website of RRB. Candidates who registered themselves for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (Graduate) recruitment can access their schedule there.

In accordance with the officially released timetable, the Railway Recruitment Board 2025 NTPC Exams are scheduled to commence on June 05, 2025, and conclude on June 23, 2025. The examination will be held for the time period of 90 minutes. 100 questions will be included in the examination, where each question will carry one mark. 40 questions will be from the General Awareness section, 30 from Mathematics, and another 30 from General Intelligence and Reasoning.

There is negative marking in the examination. For each wrong answer, 1/3 mark will be deducted. The selection process will consist of several stages, including 1st Stage CBT, 2nd Stage CBT, a typing skill test, or a computer-based aptitude test. The stages of selection will vary depending on the post. Selection of candidates will be harder on a merit basis. Selected candidates may also be required to go through document verification and a medical examination.

Approximately 10 days before the examination, candidates will be provided their exam city and date information, along with travel authority. These details will be made accessible to students at the official website of RRBs. The e-call letters will be available to download around four days before the examination date.

The recruitment is currently open to fill a total of 8,113 graduate-level vacancies at various posts. If we see the vacancy distribution as per distinct posts. Then, 1,736 posts are open for the position of Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, 994 for Station Master, 3,144 for Goods Train Manager, 1,507 for Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, and 732 for Senior Clerk cum Typist.
