Aadhaar Update: Soon Mobile Number Can Be Updated Online via OTP & Face Authentication
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) recently shared on its official social media platform X (previously known as Twitter) an update regarding Aadhaar.
UIDAI added that soon Aadhaar users will be able to update their mobile number in Aadhaar from the comfort of their home through One Time Password (OTP) and Face Authentication.
Aadhaar users will be able to update their mobile number easily online without visiting an Aadhaar Center or waiting in long queues, making the process quicker and simpler.
This move will be beneficial for senior citizens, differently-abled individuals, and people living in remote areas, as it reduces paperwork and travel time.
The UIDAI team invites Aadhaar users to give their recommendations and feedback. Users can submit their suggestions online through Aadhaar App.
