UIDAI Launches ‘Aadhaar Vision 2032’ to Shape Future of India’s Digital Identity
The Minister of Electronics and Information Technology recently issued a press release on October 31, 2025 regarding the UIDAI initiates Technological and Strategic Review to shape the future of Digital ID.
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has recently started a review to plan how Aadhaar will grow and improve over the decade. This plan will be known as "Aadhaar Vision 2032".
This plan will guide how Aadhaar’s technology, security, and services will be upgraded to better serve people and support India’s digital future.

UIDAI is planning a big upgrade for Aadhaar through its new plan called “Aadhaar Vision 2032”. The objective to launch this is to make Aadhaar’s technology stronger and keep it safe, reliable, and ready for the future. To make this happen, UIDAI has organised a special Expert Committee under the chairman Shri Neelkanth Mishra. This group includes top experts from different fields like education, business, and government. The committee includes: Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar, CEO, UIDAI; Shri Vivek Raghavan, Co-Founder of Sarvam AI; Shri Dheeraj Pandey, Founder of Nutanix; Shri Sasikumar Ganesan, Head of Engineering and others. The Aadhaar Vision 2032 plan aims to use advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Quantum Computing, and strong data security systems. These technologies will help Aadhaar to stay secure against new cyber threats, handle growing demand, and adapt to the fast-changing digital world. Through this step, UIDAI express its commitment to using the best technology and new ideas and building public trust and to make sure Aadhaar keeps playing an important role in improving India’s digital services and governance.
