AAI Recruitment 2023: The Airports Authority of India (AAI), Regional Head Quarter, Eastern Region has invited Applications from Retired Air Traffic Control Officers (ATCO) for Contractual Appointments as Consultants (Air Traffic Management/ATM). As per the AAI Recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 12 Vacancies for Appointments of the Consultants (ATM) in Bhubaneswar (07), Kolkata (03) and Patna (02). Engagement of the Retired ATCOs shall remain effective for 01 Year.
Among the Eligible Retired Air Traffic Control Officers Candidates, those willing to be Applicants for Appointment as Consultants, should apply in the Specimen Application Proforma available vide this AAI Recruitment 2023 Notification and on the AAI Website. The Last Date for such Retired Officers for submission of their duly completed Applications shall terminate on 21st January 2023 (21.01.2023). Duly completed Applications should be emailed by the Intending Candidates.

Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 75000 (Consolidated) Per Month
The Retired Officers should be Medically Fit and must not exceed 70 Years’ Age vide the AAI Recruitment 2023 Notification.
i) The Retired ATCO should have rendered Service in E7/E6 Level.
ii) The Ex-Officers must have Minimum 10 Years Experience.
a) The Eligible Candidate should be cleared from Vigilance/ Disciplinary Angle at the time of Retirement. *The Candidate shall need to submit the Supporting Documents in this regard.
b) There should not be any Criminal Case pending against the Eligible Candidate and must be Self-Certified.
c) The Applicant should be willing to take up Employment on an Immediate or Short-Term Basis.
The Interviews of the Shortlisted Candidates will be conducted/organized through Video-Conferencing (VC).
Appointment of Retired AAI Officers to serve as Consultants will be conducted by/followed by a Duly Constituted Interview Committee. Personal Interviews of the Candidates shall involve Personal Interviews and Certificate Verification to be conducted by the Regional Headquarters, Eastern Region.
Notices/Communications in respect of the Candidates Shortlisted for Interview would be put up for display on the Airports Authority of India Website The AAI Selection Committee shall conduct the following Exercises to issue post-Selection Appointments:
a) The Term of Appointment of to-be appointed/engaged Consultant will remain 01 (One) Year.
b) The Candidates would be appointed as Consultants on Full-Time basis and they must neither engage in/do any other Task during the period of Consultancy nor Permission will granted for the same.
c) 01 (One) Month’s Notice Period/One Month’s Remuneration in lieu of the Notice period for Both. The Airports Authority of India and the Advisor may terminate the Services/Resign during the period of Appointment by giving 01 Month’s Notice.
a) Assisting in the duty of the Air Traffic Controller Units, Work Support Officers (WSOs), Offices (Library, etc.), Sky Records, Tapes Transcript, Incident/Accident Investigation, Fire and Coordination Center, Route Navigation Facility Charges (RNFC) Billings, Air Traffic Controller’s (ATCO) License/Licensing Investigation/Examination of only Data/database, Application Load Balancer (ALB) Database, Statistics Preparation, Preparation of various displays, Roster Preparation, Training Data Verification, etc., as mentioned in the AAI Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
