Professor and Additional Professor-

For Medical Candidates-

• A medical Qualification included in the I or II schedules or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in section 13(3) of the Act.)
• Candidate should have a postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.OR
• Applicant should have an M.Ch. for surgical Super specialities and D.M. for Medical Super specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Non-medical Candidates:

• The applicants must have a Postgraduate qualification e.g. Master’s degree in the discipline/allied subject.
• Candidate should have a Doctorate degree from a recognized University. 

For Super speciality disciplines (Additional Professor)-

• Candidate should have a D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical superspecialities and
• Applicant must have an M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical super specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Assistant Professor (Lecturer in Nursing)-

• The candidate should have a Master’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized Institution/University.
• The candidate should have a Registered Nurse Midwife.

Professor and Additional Professor

For Medical Candidates

• Candidate should have at least 14 years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. OR
• Candidate should have at least 12 years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institute in the subject of speciality after obtaining the Degree of M.Ch./D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. OR
• Candidate should have at least 11 years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality for the candidates possessing 3 years recognized Degree of D.M/M.Ch in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Non-medical Candidates

• The applicants must have 14 years of teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate degree.

Additional Professor

For Medical Candidates

• Candidate should have 10 years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Super speciality disciplines (Additional Professor)

• Candidate should have 08 years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./ M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. OR
• Candidate should have 07 years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality for the candidates possessing 3 years recognized degree of D.M. / M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Assistant Professor (Lecturer in Nursing)

• Candidate should have 05 years of experience with a minimum of two years of teaching experience in Nursing.

Remuneration for AIIMS Mangalagiri Recruitment 2024:

In accordance with the official notification of AIIMS Mangalagiri Recruitment 2024, the selected candidates for the mentioned positions will be paid a monthly salary of up to Rs. 220000.

Tenure for AIIMS Mangalagiri Recruitment 2024:

As stated in the official notification of AIIMS Mangalagiri Recruitment 2024, the contract for engagement will be appointed on a deputation for a period of 03 years further extendable up to 05 years, total 07 years allowed on a deputation basis as per the DoPT guidelines and the engagement of retired faculty consultant is purely on a contract basis for an initial term of two years from the date of joining duty after acceptance of this contract. The term may be extended by another two years or till the attainment of the age of 70 years or till the post is filled by regular appointment, whichever is earliest.
