APSC Recruitment 2023: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is seeking applications from Indian nationals to employ for Director of Economics & Statistics under the Transformation and Development Department, Government of Assam. As per the APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the hiring will be made for one (01) vacancy. Candidates should be a minimum of 35 years of age and not more than 45 years of age as of 01/01/2023. For candidates belonging to the Assam Economics & Statistical Service, there shall be no upper age limit. Candidates will be paid a monthly salary up to Rs.1,10,000 across all stated positions. The remuneration scale plus grade pay, plus any extra perks that may be provided to Assam State Government employees on occasion. The aspirant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
As per the APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the physically handicapped persons who have received a Physically Handicapped Certificate from a competent authority would be eligible for appointment to the post based on the established standards of medical fitness. Candidates must submit their applications online through the APSC website. Personal interviews will be utilised for selection of candidates. At the time of the interview, the candidate must bring a physical copy of the online application, the original papers or certifications, and self-attested copies. The deadline for application submission is 30-09-2023. The State Govt. Employees from Assam are not required to present any documents as proof of residency; however, they must produce a “No Objection Certificate (NOC)” from their respective employer, as well as a copy of the accepted intimation letter for the NOC from the competent authority of the relevant Department.
