RPSC Recruitment 2022: Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has sought Applications from the Candidates Eligible for the Post Assistant Town Planner (ATP). Among the Candidates willing to apply for Assistant Town Planner Post in the Town Planning Department (TPD) duly meeting Prescribed Eligibility may apply as per Instructions explained in the Rajasthan Public Service Commission Recruitment Advertisement for Assistant Town Planner Position in the Town Planning Department.

Modality of Applying: The Candidates should apply with Scanned Signatures, Most Recent Photographs, the Certificates, and Documents pertaining to Education, Experience, Domicile Proof, etc. including the Examination Fee altogether receivable Before or On 09.11.2022.

Selection Process: Selection to the Post Assistant Town Planner consists of 02 Stages; i.e., Stage I: Computer-Based Recruitment Test for Maximum 150 Marks for 150 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions for Aggregate 150 Marks and Stage II Personal Interview, yielding Final Merit List.

Examination Mode: Computer Based Recruitment Examination Scheme

Rajasthan Public Service Commission shall host a Computer Based Recruitment Test with 2½ Hours (150 Minutes) Examination Duration for Assistant Town Planner Post. The Computer Based Recruitment Examination consists of 02 Parts with Total 150 (Part A: 40 + Part B: 110) Multiple-Choice Questions of Objective-Type for Aggregate 150 Marks with a Negative Marking @ ⅓ rd or (0.33) Mark for each Incorrect Response or Multiple Answers.

Educational Qualification: Eligible Candidates should have in possession

i) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil)/Architecture/Planning with Post-Graduate Degree in Urban/City/ Regional Planning/Traffic and Transportation Planning; Or M.Tech. in Planning Or M.Plan. (Urban/Regional/ Traffic and Transport/Environment) Or Equivalent from any Duly Recognized University or Institution.

OR

Bachelor’s Degree in Planning/Architecture from any Duly Recognised Institute/University established by Law in India with 02 Years’ Working Experience in the field of Town Planning.

ii) Working Knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari Script and Knowledge of Rajasthani Culture

Age Limit (As On 01.01.2023): General Merit Candidates should be Minimum 20 Years and Maximum 40 Years. Relaxation in Upper Age Limit for Reserved Community Candidates as per the Government Rule.

That the Released Emergency Commissioned Officers and Short Service Commissioned Officers after released from the Army shall be deemed to be within the age-limit even though they have crossed the age-limit when they appear before the Commission had they been eligible as such at the time of their joining the commission in the Army.

That the Upper Age Limit for the Persons serving in connection with the affairs of the Panchayat Committee and District Boards/Councils (Zila Parishad) and in the State Public Sector Undertakings/Corporation in Substantive Capacity shall be 40 Years.

According to the Rajasthan Civil Services (Absorption of Ex-Servicemen) Rules 1988, Relaxation in Upper Age Limit shall be 10 Years to the Ex-Servicemen;

Provided that in case of Direct Recruitment where Serving Experience is also essential on the Lower Post then Relaxation in Age equal to the period of Requisite Working Experience of the Lower Post shall be given to the Ex-Servicemen in addition to relaxation in Age already provided under these Rules;

Provided that the Permissible Age after relaxation under this Rule works out to be more than 50 Years then an Upper Age Limit of 50 Years shall be applicable but in the case of Direct Recruitment where Working Experience of Lower Post is Essential, the Maximum Upper Age Limit of 55 Years shall be Applicable.

iv) PwBDs/SCs/STs, whose Annual Income falls below Rs. 2.50 Lac: Rs. 150.00

v) SCs/STs under Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) Area Inhabiting SCs/ST and Sahariya Primitives under all Tehsils of District Baran: Rs. 150.00
