Overview:

Maruti is hiring an experienced Raw Material – Supply Chain at their Gurugram location. You will be conducting full value chain supply, demand, trade and price analysis generating short term (weekly) and longer term on various sector forecasts.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

What will you be doing:

Knowledge of Nonferrous raw materials and explore localization enhancement

Make accurate forecasts of what the market will do for commodities.

Coordination with SC- vertical for Commodity Price Standardization, RM risk mitigation and yield/VAVE implementation.

Knowledge of Commodity hedging, Indexations and substitution.

Global RM suppliers mapping and ensuring Smooth supplies with De risking

Coordination with Inhouse Casting and Injection Molding shops for smooth supply and capacity management.

Commodity data collection for specific markets and produce adhoc analysis based on short-term market developments & long-term forecast.

Develop and expand analytics tools and processes while staying on top of market research and insights.

Qualifications for this Job:

Qualification – B.E/B.Tech

Experience – 2 yrs to 7 yrs

Strong knowledge of Commodity Markets

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to analyze the data and propose strategies.

Strategic Thinking and propose long term solutions

360-degree approach to business situations

Strong execution orientation and problem-solving approach

Ability to understand technical requirements of derivatives markets & its financial instruments.

Should be able to read, write & execute Legal contract and  documentation with banks as per prescribed guidelines.

Ability to effectively communicate specific requirements with banks & related parties for overall execution of task.

Should have good understanding about the macro and micro economic factors, geographic demographics, demand-supply scenario of various commodities to analyze information and propose strategies
