According to the official notification of BEL recruitment 2023, applications are invited for the posts of Project Engineer and Trainee Engineer.

Age Limit for BEL Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of BEL recruitment 2023, the age limit is given below–

For Trainee Engineer- The upper age limit is 28 years.

For Project Engineer– The upper age limit is 32 years.

The upper age limit will be relaxable for OBC candidates by 03 years and SC/ST candidates by 05 years. For candidates belonging to PwBD category having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years’ relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above

Eligibility Criteria for BEL Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of BEL recruitment 2023, candidates must have the given below qualification-

For Trainee Engineer – I and Project Engineer-I- B.E/B.Tech (4 year course) Engineering degree or
equivalent in Computer Science from recognized University/Institution/College with 55% & above for GEN/EWS/OBC candidates & Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates.

For Project Engineer-I- Full time BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engg course from reputed Institute/University in the following Engineering disciplines – Electronics/Telecommunication/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication/Electrical and Electronics/ Electrical/Communication/Mechanical/Computer Science/Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Science Engineering / Information Science/ Information Technology.

Pay Scale for BEL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for BEL recruitment 2023 will be given a monthly pay scale as given below-

For Trainee Engineer – I- 

1st year- Rs. 30,000
2nd year– Rs. 35,000
3rd year- Rs. 40,000

For Project Engineer-I- 

1st year- Rs. 40,000
2nd year– Rs. 45,000
3rd year- Rs. 50,000
4th year- Rs. 55,000

Note– Area allowance* @ 10% of consolidated remuneration (per month). Only to those candidates who will be posted to various sites and customer location Rs.12,000 per year towards insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc.

For Project Engineer-I-

For Vizag location (52 posts) the duration is for 2 years the candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 45,000 during the 1st and 2nd year of contract.

For New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Bangalore locations (58 posts) the initial duration is for 3 years which can be extended upto one more year (total 4 years duration) based on project requirement and individual performance .The Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 40,000 Rs. 45,000 Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 55,000 during the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of contract respectively.
