Bihar Police Prohibition Constable Recruitment 2022: The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) has invited Applications from Candidates fulfilling the Eligibility in reference to the Recruitment for Selection of Prohibition Constables into the Prohibition, Excise, and Registration Department. Among the Candidates, those who meet the Eligibility Criteria including Educational Qualification, Physical Standards, etc., and intend to apply, may apply as per the Instructions in the Recruitment Notification issued for Selection of Prohibition Constables in Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department. There are 689 Vacancies including 272 Posts for Un-Reserved Category Candidates and 09 Back Log Vacancies and Pension endorsed Ex-Service-Men have been allocated 14 Posts.

The Last Date for the Eligible Candidates for Online Application with Scanned Signatures, Photographs, Self-attested Photocopies of the Certificates related to the Educational Qualification in PDF File, Aadhar Card, Voter Identity Card, Examination Fee, etc., will close on the 14th of December 2022 (14.12.2022).

Selection Methodology: The Central Selection Board of Constable will carry out the Selection Process in reference to filling the Posts of Prohibition Constables in the Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department through 02 Stages, i.e., Stage 1: OMR Answer Sheet Based Written Examination followed by Stage 2: Physical Standards Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the Category-specific and Community-wise Merit List.

Stage 1: The OMR Answer Sheet Based Written Examination shall be held for Maximum 100 Marks, which remains Qualifying in nature. Stage 2: The Physical Efficiency Test for Total 100 Marks comprises i) Race for up to Maximum 50 Marks; ii) Shotput for up to Maximum 25 Marks and iii) High Jump for up to Maximum 25 Marks.

Physical Standards Measurement: The Physical Standards laid down for the Post of Prohibition Constable are as follows:

A) Height:

a) For Male (UR and BC) Candidates: Height: 165 Cm.

b) EBC/SC/ST Candidates: 160 Cm.

c) General Category Women the Female under all Reserved Communities: Height: 155 Cm.

B) Chest:

a) Male (UR, BC and EBC) Candidates: Chest: Minimum 81 Cm. (Unexpanded) and Minimum Expanded: 86 Cm.

b) SC/ST Candidates: b) Chest: Minimum 79 Cm. (Unexpanded) and Expanded: Minimum 84 Cm.

C) Weight:

For Males and Females: Proportionate to Height and Age as per the Medical Standards. However any Woman should necessarily have Minimum 48 Kilogram Weight.

For Kinnar/Kothi/Eunuch/Transgender (Third Gender) The Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test Measurement will remain similar to that of Backward Class Women.
