02) Stenographer: 225 Vacancies

Upper Age Limits under Bihar SSC Recruitment 2023:

Bihar SSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Age Limit for Un-Reserved Category Candidates and Reserved Community Candidates (as on 01.08.2022) should be read as follows:

• General Category: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 37 Years.

Eligibility for Bihar SSC Recruitment 2023:

The Eligibility comprising the Minimum Educational Qualifications and Technical Qualifications is as follows:

i) 12th/Intermediate (10+2) Passed Or Equivalent from any of the Government recognized Boards of Education;

ii) Maulvi Certificate, 02 Years’ ITI Certificate issued by the NCVT/SCVT (National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training).

Note: 03-Years’ Diploma in Engineering issued by the Polytechnic will be treated as Equivalent to the Intermediate.

Minimum Technical Qualification: The Applicants must have in possession the Minimum Technical Qualification as on the Closing Date.

Selection Methodology under Bihar SSC Recruitment 2023:

The Bihar SSC mandates the Selection Process involving a Single Paper Test Paper with 135 Minutes’ Examination Duration with 150 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions for Aggregate 600 Marks. 04 Marks shall be awarded for each Correct Response. There will be a Negative Marking of 01 for each Incorrect Answer or Multiple Answers for each MCQ Question.

In order to be considered Eligible for the Selection Process, the Candidates shall need to obtain Minimum Pass Marks in the Written Test. The Candidates shortlisted in the Written Examination shall have to appear in and qualify for the Practical Stenography Test including a Shorthand Dictation followed by Transcription. The Final Selection on Instructor and Stenographer Post ()will involve preparation of a Common Merit List to be followed by Counseling of the Candidates, Bihar SSC would exercise the Selection Process as enumerated in the subsequent Part.

i) General Merit Candidates: Rs. 540.00

ii) OBC/EBC Candidates: Rs. 540.00

iii) Female Gender (Including Un-Reserved Women Category) and all other Reserved Communities)

Resident in Bihar State: Rs. 135.00

iv) All Male Gender Candidates under Reserved Communities: Rs.135.00
