BMRCL Recruitment 2023: The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Karnataka, is responsible for implementing the Metro Rail Project in the city of Bengaluru. BMRCL has released a notification for the appointment of retired personnel to engineering positions in the System/O&M Wing on a contract basis. The positions available are Deputy Chief Engineer/Deputy General Manager, Executive Engineer/Manager, and Asst. Executive Engineer/Asst. Manager and a total of 14 vacancies.

As per BMRCL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the period of contract appointment for the advertised positions is between 1 to 3 years. It means that the selected candidates will be appointed on a contractual basis for a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years.
The contract of appointment can be terminated by either the employer or the employee by providing a notice period of 1 to 3 months. Alternatively, either party can choose to pay the contractual remuneration of 1 to 3 months in lieu of the notice period if the circumstances warrant it. This provision ensures flexibility in the employment arrangement and allows for a smooth transition in case of early termination of the contract.
