BNP Paribas MF ceases to exist as mutual fund Says Sebi

Due to a change in control, BNP Paribas Assets Management Company Private Limited (BNPP AMC) has informed SEBI that they wish to surrender the registration granted to BNP Paribas Mutual Fund by SEBI.

BNPP AMC has also agreed that the Surviving AMC (i.e. Baroda BNP Paribas Assets Management India Private Limited) and Surviving Trustee (Baroda BNP Paribas Trustee India Private Limited) will continue to be liable for all liabilities/obligations (including monetary penalties, if any) for any violations of the SEBI Act that occurred prior to the surrender of the certificate of registration.

SEBI has accepted the request for surrender of certificate of registration of BNPP MF. Consequently, BNPP MF ceases to exist as a mutual fund w.e.f. April 13, 2022.
