Bank of Baroda seeks applications for the position of Business Correspondent Supervisor on a contract basis in the Coimbatore Region districts of Coimbatore, Tirupur, and The Nilgiris. The total number of openings is 05, which may change depending on the bank’s needs in the future without further notice.

Qualification for BOB Recruitment 2023:

Retired Bank Employees

1. Retired officers (including voluntarily retired) of any PSU bank up to the rank of Chief

2. Manager may be appointed for the purpose.

3. Retired clerks and equivalent of Bank of Baroda having passed JAIIB with a good track record.

4. All retired bank employees applicants should have rural banking experience at least 3 years.

Young Candidates: Minimum qualification should be a graduate with Computer knowledge (MS Office, email, Internet, etc.), however, qualifications like M.Sc. (IT)/ BE (IT)/ MCA/MBA will be given preference.

Salary for BOB Recruitment 2023:

The selected candidates will be getting a salary between the pay scale of Rs 15000 to 25000.

1. The BC Supervisor will be engaged in monitoring the performance of field BCs.

2. The application form should be submitted in hard copies either through speed
post/ registered post/courier or in person.

3. After thoroughly scrutinizing the application forms and based on the eligibility of the candidates will be shortlisted for the interview process.

4. Intimation to the shortlisted candidates will be sent through email only giving details about the date, time and venue of the interview.

5. Based on the suitability of the candidates, the final candidate/s will be shortlisted and intimate within 15 days from the date of the interview through email only.

6. The interested candidate/s have to report on a predetermined date (as mentioned in the intimation letter) with all the required documents (both original and photocopy) for verification.

7. Bank will verify all the criteria as mentioned in Point No.3, Point No.4 & Point No.5 at the time of engagement.

8. The selected candidates have to finally execute an agreement with the Bank for a period of 12 months before commencing their roles and responsibilities. The contract will be signed by selected BC supervisors and bank officials.

9. The place for sitting of BC supervisors depending upon their area of operations will be decided at the bank’s discretion.

1. Monitor and Control the activities of the BCs assigned to them in coordination with the link branch as per extant guidelines of the bank. BC supervisors must ensure that BCs remain active.

2. Conduct financial literacy sessions and meetings in the villages/ SSAs/ Non-SSAs as well as communities in their operational area to encourage villagers/customers for availing of the banking services of our bank.

3. Identify BCs for uncovered villages allotted by DFS and coordinate with the branch and service provider for the appointment of BCs for suitably identified locations.

4. Any other duties assigned by the bank as and when assigned.
