Bombay High Court Recruitment 2025: The Bombay High Court is currently accepting applications from willing, qualified, and eligible candidates for preparing Select Lists of candidates to be appointed as ‘Law Clerk’, on a contract basis, for a period of one year from the date of appointment, at the positions of Principal Seat at Bombay, Bench at Nagpur and Bench at Aurangabad. In reference to the official notification of the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2025, the opportunity is open to fill up a total of 64 vacancies. The age limit of candidates should not be less than 21 years old and should not be more than 30 years old, on the date of application.
As mentioned in the official notification of the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2025, The selected candidates will be paid a monthly consolidated amount of Rs. 65,000. The application fee is Rs. 500. The fee must be paid at the time of submission of the application form. Candidates satisfying all the above-listed eligibility criteria can fill in the application form for the respective positions they want to work at and submit it to the address stated below along with the self-attested copies of all the relevant documents. The cover containing the application shall be superscribed as: “Application for Appointment of Law Clerk”.

Eligibility criteria required for the opportunity are listed below:

Candidates to be called eligible must possess an age not below 21 years of age or more than 30 years of age, on the date of application.
The chosen Law Clerk, as per the official notification of the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2025, will be paid a monthly consolidated amount of Rs. 65,000 as a Stipend/Honorarium for his/her assignment, or such amount as may be prescribed from time to time by the Government. Law Clerks will not be entitled to any other allowances and shall not be treated or deemed to be in the regular employment of the High Court.
Based on the official notification of the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2025, eligible candidates who have been recommended by the Principals of the Law Colleges from where they pursued the L.L.B./L.LM. or Presidents of Bar Associations named above will have to appear for a personal interview at the High Court, Bombay at their own cost on the date and time to be notified to them.
To fill in the application form for Bombay High Court Recruitment 2025, candidates will be required to submit the non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500 through of Postal Order or Demand Draft in favour of “Assistant Registrar for Registrar General, High Court, Appellate Side, Bombay”.
The period of appointment will be for the duration of one year. However, any Law Clerk may be discharged even before the completion of a year. The Hon’ble Judge may, at any time prior to the expiry of the period of one year, recommend for termination of the services of the Law Clerk, in which case the appointment shall be terminated forthwith.
The tenure period may be extended further for a maximum period of one year more if recommended by the Hon’ble Judge concerned to whom he/she is attached, subject to the approval of the Hon’ble Chief Justice.
