Age Limits in BPSSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the BPSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Age Limits for General Category Candidates as on 01.01.2023 shall be as follows:

i) The Un-Reserved Category Male Candidate should be Minimum 20 Years and Maximum 37 Years.

ii) The Un-Reserved Category Female Candidates should be Minimum 20 Years and Maximum 40 Years.

Age Relaxations for Reserved Community Candidates as per Government Rule.

Eligibility Criteria for BPSSC Recruitment 2023:

Based on the BPSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Required Educational Qualification as on 01.01.2023 is as follows:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree/Graduation from any Duly Recognized University Or Equivalent Examination Passed from the State Government Recognized Institute.

Detailed Physical Standards Test Criteria: 

Selection Criteria under BPSSC Recruitment 2023:

As has been narrated in the BPSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Selection for both Sub-Inspector (Prohibition) and Sub-Divisional Fire Station Officer Posts will be conducted in order of Merit determined/prepared by taking into account the Marks obtained on the Main Written Examination.

Bihar Police Subordinate Selection Commission shall conduct the Selection Test consisting of 02 Stages as follows:

1st Stage: The 1st Paper (Preliminary Test) with 02-Hours’ Examination Duration shall have 100 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type for 200 Marks. The Candidates scoring Minimum 30 Percentile Marks will be shortlisted in the Preliminary Examination. The Candidates shortlisted in the Preliminary Examination will be called in for appearing in the Main Written Examination.

2nd Stage: The 2nd Paper (Main Written Examination) with 02-Hours’ Examination Duration shall have 100 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type for 200 Marks. The Candidates shall have to score/obtain Minimum Qualifying 30% Marks in the Main Written Examination will be shortlisted in the Preliminary Examinaton.

BPSSC will prepare Merit List Category. The Candidates on Merit List will be called in to appear for Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Standard Test. Such Candidates would be subjected to the Physical Efficiency Test, which is Qualifying in nature.

Examination Fee for BPSSC Recruitment 2023:

As has been mentioned in the BPSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Examination Fee to be paid through the Payment Gateway by the Candidate shall be as follows:

i) Un-Reserved Category: Rs.700 (Rupees Seven Hundred) only

ii) Other than Un-Reserved Category Candidates: Rs.400 (Rupees Four Hundred) only
