Candidates applying from the Dy. General Manager post should have a degree in Electrical Engineering and should be placed on Pay Scale Level -13 or above (JAG/SG Grades in Railways (CDA).
Candidates applying for the General Manager post should have 17 (Seventeen) years of experience and the candidates applying from Dy. General Manager should have 13 (Thirteen) years of experience. Candidates should have experience in Project Management & Project Execution. Knowledge of preparing Project Plan, Project Estimation & Budget, Tendering processes and billing. Site Management & Resource Planning. Candidates should have Cost management & Value engineering to reduce the time and cost of completion of a project. Candidates should have experience in the Maintenance of Plant Machineries and Electrical equipment in the Heavy Engineering industry. Candidates should be aware of electrical standards, able to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications, and aware of problem-solving techniques. Candidates should have experience of maintaining substation equipment like transformers, circuit breakers, PCCs etc. Preference will be given to candidates with experience installing electrical substations (not less than 11 KV systems) or preferably in Solar Power Plant Projects. Experience in working in steel plants, and automated process Units will be an added advantage. Candidates should be able to work independently and lead a team of professionals to meet goals and targets.
