According to the Ministry of Law and Justice Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Officer post-Selection shall be entitled to the Monthly Salary under Pay Scale mentioned hereunder:

Pay Scale: Level 07 (44900-142400)

Eligibility under Ministry of Law and Justice Recruitment 2023:

The Eligibility including Essential Educational Qualifications, Desirable Experience, and Skills, etc., are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria: Post-specific Eligibility Essential for Deputation Basis is as follows:

Any Officer under the Central Government

i) holding Analogous Post on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre/Department; Or

ii) with Minimum 05-Years’ Regular Service in the Grade rendered after Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in Pay Level 06 (Rs.35400-112400) in the Pay Matrix or Equivalent. And

Educational Qualification: Any of the following Qualifications; viz.,

i) Pass in the Subordinate Accounts Service Examination conducted by any of the Organized Accounts Departments of the Central Government with 02-Years’ Experience in Cash, Accounts and Budget Work; Or

ii) Successful completion of the Cash and Accounts Work Training in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management or Equivalent with 03-Years’ Experience in Cash, Accounts, and the Budget Work.

Selection Process under Ministry of Law and Justice Recruitment 2023:

Selection on the Cash Officer Post shall be carried through by Interview.

Appointment on the Cash Officer Post On Deputation shall initially remain for 03-Years’ Tenure. The Other Terms and Conditions in respect of the Cash Officer Post On Deputation shall be governed as per the Instructions issued by Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) vide Office Memorandum No. 6/8/2009-Establishment (Pay-II) dated 17th June 2010 (17.06.2010), as amended from time to time in view of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment Board 2023 Notification.

Deputation Tenure: The Deputation Tenure (Including Short-Term Contractual) including the Deputation (ISTC) Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in Similar or some other Organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 03 (Three) Years.
