[Breaking] CA May 2024 Exam Date Clarification Soon: EC to Announce Election Dates on Saturday Finally, the Election Commission of India has released an official press release and has announced that the Press Conference will be held on 16th March 2024, i.e. tomorrow to announce the Schedule for the General Elections to Lok Sabha and State Legislative Assemblies 2024. Now if the election dates are out tomorrow, it is anticipated that the change in the CA Examination schedule if any should be announced by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) by next week. This time CA students are desperately waiting for the Lok Sabha Election 2024 Dates. The reason for this is that the Examination Committee may reschedule the May 2024 CA Examination if the General Lok Sabha Election dates overlap with the current examination schedule. [Refer to the ICAI announcement on the postponing of exams]. One of the senior Chartered Accountant; wrote on Twitter that Many Students and CAs are calling me to know whether CA Exams will be held as per schedule. The Exam(s) unless it clashes with Polling or Counting schedule will be held as per the date(s) at the Centre(s) announced by ICAI. However one of the Twitter handles has claimed that it is Confirmed by a reliable source that ICAI exams are set to be postponed. The official announcement will be out on or before 16th March. Current Schedule of CA Exams: Group 1's CA Inter examinations are set for May 3, 5, and 7 and Group 2's on May 9, 11, and 13. An estimated 4,36,500 students have registered for the 2024 May/June exam.
