CA Exam: ICAI Notifies CA Final and Inter Nov 2022 Exam Dates

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) via Announcement Dated 14th July 2022 Notifies the Schedule of CA Final, Intermediate & PQC November 2022 Examinations.

The Announcement is Given Below:

No. 13-CA (EXAM)/November/2022: In pursuance of Regulation 22 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is pleased to announce that the next Chartered Accountants Intermediate and Final Examinations will be held on the dates and places which are given below provided that a sufficient number of candidates offer themselves to appear from each of the below-mentioned places.

Similarly, the International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT) and the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination (open to members of the Institute) for the Post Qualification Course under Regulation 204 will be held on the dates and locations (centers in India only) that are listed below, provided that a sufficient number of candidates volunteer to appear from each of the below-mentioned locations.

INTERMEDIATE COURSE EXAMINATION

[As per syllabus contained in the scheme notified by the Council under Regulation 28 G (4) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.]

Group-I: 2nd, 4th, 6th & 9th November 2022

Group-II: 11th, 13th, 15th & 17th November 2022

FINAL COURSE EXAMINATION

[As per syllabus contained in the scheme notified by the Council under Regulation 31 (iv) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.]

Group -I: 1st, 3rd, 5th & 7th November 2022

Group -II: 10th, 12th, 14th & 16th November 2022

1st & 3rd November 2022

INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT (IRM) TECHNICAL EXAMINATION

Modules I to IV 1st, 3rd, 5th & 7th November 2022

In accordance with F. No. 12/5/2021-JCA-2 dated 8.06.2021 issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India, no exam is scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in honor of Guru Nanak’s Birthday, a mandatory (gazetted) central government holiday.

It should be noted that if any day on the exam calendar were to be proclaimed a public holiday by the central government or any state or local government, there would be no alteration to the exam schedule.

Candidates may note that Paper – 6 of Final Examination is of 4 hours. However, all other examinations are of 3 hours duration, and the examination wise timing(s) are given below:

*In all papers of the Post Qualification Course Examination, there will not be any advance reading time, whereas in all other papers/exams mentioned above, an advance reading time of 15 minutes will be given from 1.45 PM (IST) to 2 PM (IST).

Further, In the case of composite papers having both MCQs-based & Descriptive Question Papers, the seal of MCQs-based Question Paper shall be opened at 2 PM (IST), in other words, there will be no prior reading time for MCQs-based Question Papers.
