A well-known manufacturing company Britannia Industries Limited is looking for an S & F Officer for its plant in Mundra. This is a great opportunity for finance professionals with experience in plant finance, cost control, and managing MIS reports.

Who Can Apply?

Candidates with any of the following qualifications can apply such as CA (Inter), ICWA (Inter), MBA (Finance), M.Com or B.Com.
The candidate should have total work experience of 5 to 8 years, preferably in a manufacturing or plant setup.

Job Role and Responsibilities

As an S & F Officer the main role will be to manage financial activities of the plant. This includes:

  • Reconciliation of raw materials and packaging materials by the use of SAP and physical stock reports.
  • Monitor the performance of plant daily or weekly including production, breakdowns, defects, labor, fuel and power costs.
  • Work with production, maintenance, HR and quality teams to understand major cost variances.
  • Track the material consumption regularly and variance follow-ups.
  • Preparation and circulation of daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports.
  • Verifying and correcting BOM (Bill of Materials) data and closing stocks of finished goods.
  • Checking and recording daily defective stock recyclable and non-recyclable.
  • Support and start cost-saving projects (CEP).
  • Calculation of various variances like consumption, recipe and wage rate.
  • Participate in factory cost control and production confirmation reports.
  • Monitor SAP finished goods stock and compare with actual production.
  • Discuss the breakdown summaries with stakeholders and prepare reports.
  • Make sure factory processes match standard procedures and highlight any differences.
  • Update the new recipes in SAP and making sure accurate floor-level reporting.
  • Make adjustment entries on time for the month-end stock processes.
  • Doing reconciliation of empty stocks every month.
  • Report and update safety trackers and make sure to follow up on unsafe conditions.

Internal: Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, Replenishment, HR, Finance (Regional and EO), SAP
External: Internal auditors and management auditors
