The CBDT issued a corrigendum on April 10, correcting clerical errors in Schedule CG and Schedule UD of the Income-tax notification dated March 30, 2026.

CBDT Corrects Errors in Income tax return Form 5 [Read Notification]
The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) under the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) recently issued a Corrigendum on April 10, 2026, under notification.
The Central Board of Direct Taxes, through this notification, issued a correction to an earlier Income-tax notification numbered G.S.R. 229(E) dated 30th March 2026.
The correction states that in Schedule CG, on page 107, in row A8, the words "(A8a A8b + A8c)" have now been corrected to "(A8a + A8b + A8c)".
Further, in Schedule UD, on page 119, in row (v), under columns (4) and (5), the references were wrongly mentioned as "(3xvi of BFLA)" and "(4xvi of BFLA)". These have now been corrected to "(3xv of BFLA)" and "(4xv of BFLA)" respectively.
