CBDT invitescomments and suggestions for amendingrule 44E, Form 34C, 34D and 34DA Draft notification proposing an amendment to rule 44E, Form 34C, 34D and 34DA as per Base Erosion and Profit Shifting action for improving transparency in relation to tax rulings has been issued by CBDT. CBDT has invitedcomments and suggestionsof stakeholders and general public on the same. Rule 44E of the Income Tax Rules deals withApplication for obtaining an advance ruling. A Non -Resident applicant can make application toadvance ruling by filing form 34C. A Non -Resident/resident applicant who has done transaction withA Non -Resident can make application toadvance rulingby filing form 34D or 34DA, respectively.
