CBDT released Updated Common Offline Utility for Income Tax Form 3CA-3CD and 3CB-3CD
The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has released the updated version (1.3.3) of the Common Offline Utility for Forms 3CA-3CD and 3CB-3CD, which is required for taxpayers to submit audit reports under Section 44AB of the Income-tax Act of 1961.
This updated utility is now available from 15th October 2024 and facilitates the filing of audit reports while also improving performance and compliance.
Forms 3CA-3CD and 3CB-3CD are required for submitting tax audit reports. Form 3CA-3CD is used when a taxpayer's accounts have already been audited under another law and Statement of Particulars is required to be furnished under Section 44AB of the Income Tax Act of 1961, whereas Form 3CB-3CD is used when accounts are audited particularly under Section 44AB of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
