CBI Apprehended Regional Provident Fund Commissioner for Accepting Bribe of Rs.50000 The Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) had apprehended a Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Panipat(Haryana) in a bribery of Rs.50,000/- A complaint led to the filing of a case. According to the complaint, the Regional Provident Fund Commissioer (RPFC-II), Panipat demanded a bribe of Rs. 50,000/- from the complainant in exchange for unfreezing the accounts of the complainant's company (which provides labour, among other things, to various business houses, institutions, offices, etc.). CBI laid a trap and caught the accused while accepting bribe of Rs.50,000/-.Searches are being conducted at the residential and official premises of accused. The investigation is ongoing.
