CBI Arrests MCD Assistant Manager and Employee for Accepting Bribe In connection with an Rs. 1 lakh bribe, the Central Bureau of Investigation has detained a Municipal Corporation of Delhi employee in Najafgarh, Delhi. On the basis of a complaint, a case was filed against an assistant engineer and an employee of MCD, Najafgarh, Delhi. According to the allegations, the Assistant Engineer at MCD Najafgarh, Delhi demanded a bribe of Rs. 3 lakh through an MCD Najafgarh, Delhi employee in exchange for enabling the complainant to build the foundation and slabs for his home. The CBI set a trap for the aforementioned employee of the MCD in Najafgarh, who was captured receiving the bribe of Rs. 100,000 for himself and the assistant engineer of the MCD in Najafgarh, Delhi. The accused's premises were searched, and a few incriminating documents were found there. The detained suspect was brought before the Delhi Competent Court and remanded for two days in police custody.
