The Goods and Services Tax (GST) System is collecting Principal Place of Business (PPOB) metadata to verify your physical business location, update geocoding (latitude and longitude coordinates), and ensure compliance.

Now, in this context, taxpayers are receiving a message reading, "GST System is collecting metadata for the Principal Place of Business. Would you like to provide the details now?" Now, the system is giving two options in answer to this question: "YES-CLICK HERE" and "NO-REMIND ME LATER".

Now, a key question here: which option should you click, "Yes" or "No-Remind Me Later"?

YES - CLICK HERE: In case you are all set to review and confirm your business address, map pin/geocoding, photos of the premises, and contact details. It will be a hygiene and verification step to update the map location. Updating the same will not block your return filing or amend your registered certificate address.

NO - REMIND ME LATER: In case, presently, you do not have any exact location coordinates, location photo, or current details ready, although you should complete it soon to avoid pending compliance prompts.
