The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on September 15, 2026, arrested a Chief Health Inspector of South Eastern Railway’s Adra Division in a bribery case.

CBI Arrests Four, Including Two Senior Officers of RDSO Lucknow, in Bribery Case

According to the CBI, the officer, posted at Bhojudih in Bokaro district, had allegedly demanded Rs 25,000 from a complainant for approving medical leave.

The CBI registered a case based on the complaint and laid a trap. The officer was allegedly caught red-handed while accepting Rs 10,000 from the complainant.

The agency also conducted searches at the officer’s office and residential premises. The accused will be produced before a competent court in Dhanbad.
