CBI Recruitment 2022: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has sought Applications from Experienced Candidates duly meeting Eligibility in reference to the Post of Executive Engineer On Deputation. Among the competent Candidates, those who deem to have fulfilled the Eligibility Criteria in respect of Appointment into the Post of Executive Engineer on Deputation may apply following the Instructions furnished in the Appended Recruitment Notification issued for the purpose.

Modality of Applying: The Officers should apply through Proper Channel and attach the Prescribed Testimonials together with their respective Applications and Certification by the Employer/Cadre Controlling Authority altogether enclosed into an Envelope superscripted “Application for the Post Executive Engineering” in the CBI before submission through Registered Post with Acknowledgement Due/Speed Post in the Central Bureau of Investigation, Head Office, New Delhi.

The Candidates from Private Sector are Not Eligible to apply for this Employment Opportunity.

The Last Date for receipt of the Applications together with the Testimonials in the shape of CD Dossier and all Explained hereunder to be receivable in the Office of the Deputy Director (Personnel), CBI Head Office is 60th Date from issuance of the CBI Recruitment Vacancy Notice signed on 12th October 2022 (12.10.2022).

i) Cadre Clearance Certificate; ii) Vigilance Clearance; iii) Integrity Certificate signed by an Officer not below the rank of Deputy Secretary/Director to the Government of India; iv) Major/Minor Penalty Statement during the Past Ten (10) Years and v) Confidential Report (CR) Dossier of Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs)/Annual Performance Assessment Reports (APARs) of preceding Five Years duly countersigned with Seal Attestation on each Page by the Officer Not Below the Rank of an Under-Secretary to the Government of India are also required to be sent with the Application. If for some reason, the Officer’s ACRs/APARs have not been written for a Particular Year or a Part of a Year and, A ‘No Report Certificate’ (NRC) is also needed to be sent.

Selection Methodology: The Central Bureau of Investigation constituted Selection Committee will carry out Screening of the Candidates likely to be considered for Shortlisting. Only Experience and Eligible Candidates would be called for Viva-voce together with the Testimonials as may be sought by the Central Bureau of Investigation.

Terms and Tenure of Services: The Period of Deputation including the Period of Deputation in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in the same or any other Organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not Exceed 03 Years.

Engagement of the Officer appointed as Civil Engineer would remain on a Full-Time Basis. After Joining He or She would not be permitted to take up any other Assignment or getting involved in doing any other Assignment or Task on Paid Basis.

Recruitment Methodology: By Deputation (including Short-Term Contract)

Essential Eligibility: The Officer should be holding an Analogous Rank Assistant Executive Engineer

Monthly Remuneration: Pay Level 11 as per 7th CPC

Age Limit (As On the Closing 60th Date from issuance of the Vacancy Notice):

The Candidate should not Exceed (Maximum) 56 Years on the Closing Date for submission of the Applications.

Eligibility Benchmark:

A) The Officers under the Central Government or State Governments

i) holding Analogous Posts on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre/Department; Or the Department; Or

ii) with 05 Years’ Service in the Post holding a Rank in the Post Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) or Equivalent thereof;

iii) with 08 Years’ Service in the Post holding a Rank in the Post Assistant Engineer (Asstt Engr) or Equivalent thereof;

B) The Officers should also Essentially have in possession

i) Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from any Duly Recognized University or the Institute Equivalent thereof; Or

ii) with 07 Years’ Experience a Civil Engineer in the capacity of Supervisor

iii) Desirable: Relevant Experience in Estimation Evaluation and Examination of Buildings.
