CBIC Notifies Deputy DRI or Assistant DRI to act as Proper Officer under the Customs The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has notified that Deputy DRI or Assistant DRI to act as the Proper Officer under the Customs vide Notification No. 61/2022-Customs (N.T.) Dated 14th July 2022. The Notification is Given Below: S.O. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1A), (4) and (5) of section 5 read with clause (34) of section 2 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 26/2022 - Customs (N.T.), dated the 31st March, 2022, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide notification number S.O.1542 (E), dated the 31 st March, 2022, namely:- In the said notification, in the Table, after S.No.4 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely :- 2.
