CBIC notifies Rate Changes decided in 49th GST Council Meeting [Read Notification]

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Custom(CBIC) has notifies Rate Changes decided in 49th GST Council Meeting via issuing Notification. This changes shall come into force on the 1st day of March, 2023.

The following changes have been notified:

Changes in GST rates of Goods and Services:

The GST Rate of ‘Rab’ has been reduced to 5% from 18% if sold prepackaged and labeled. Also, ‘Nil’ GST is applicable on Rab if it is sold otherwise. The GST Rate of the Pencil Sharpener has been reduced to 12% from 18%.

The notifications shall come into force on the 1st day of March 2023.
