CBSE New Curriculum 2024-25: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made major changes to the curriculum and content for several skill-based subjects, for the academic year 2024-25. These updates have been made for subjects such as Web Applications for Class 11, Information Technology for Class 10, and Artificial Intelligence for Classes 9 and 11.

As per the new notification released by the CBSE, the board has asked the stakeholders to visit the official website to check the changes made in the curriculum.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also released the revised and updated curriculum of Web Application Skill Subject for class 12th, the changes will begin from the academic year 2025-26. The rationalised curriculum has been uploaded to the official academic website of the CBSE board and can be accessed through the curriculum link below in the article.

CBSE New Curriculum 2024-25: Revised curriculum highlights

1. Web Application, Class 11

  • Ans– The course is aimed to provide students comprehensive understanding, practical skills and knowledge relevant to networking, website development, photo editing and programming.

2. Information Technology, Class 10

  • Ans– The course is aimed at making students familiar with the key concepts in digital documentation, digital spreadsheets, digital presentations, database management, and internet security.

3. Artificial Intelligence, Classes 9 and 11

  • Ans– This course is designed to build employability and vocational skills by integrating AI concepts with other educational subjects.

4. Web Developer & Graphic Designer, Class 12

  • Ans– The board has framed the new curriculum for class 12th but is set to be introduced in the academic year 2025-26. This class 12th course will cover topics like emerging technologies, programming, graphic design, and cybersecurity, equipping students with practical skills and knowledge relevant to the industry.
