Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2023: The Office of the Superintending Engineer Electrical Circle (Union Territory), Chandigarh has sought Online Applications from Young Candidates Eligible for Recruitment on the Posts Junior Engineers (Electrical) notified in the Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
As per the Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 04 Vacancies to be filled up with Appointments on Junior Engineer (Electrical) Posts under the Pay Scale/Matrix of Rs.35400 as per the 7th CPC in the Electrical Wing of the Engineering Department, Union Territory, Chandigarh on a Temporary Basis but likely to be continued in terms of the notified Recruitment Rules dated 17.01.2018 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission notified by the Engineering Department, Union Territory, Chandigarh
According to the Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Online Application Process shall commence on 6th March 2023 (06.03.2023). The Candidates Eligible with Willingness may complete the Online Application Process up to 27th March 2023 (27.03.2023). The Last Date for remittance of the Online Application Fee shall close on 31st March 2023 (31.03.2023).

According to the Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2023 Notification, post-Appointments as Junior Engineer (Electrical) under the Pay Scale/Matrix of Rs.35400 (as per the 7th CPC) in the Electrical Wing of the Engineering Department, Union Territory, Chandigarh.
The Age Limits as on 01.01.2023 in accordance with the Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2023 Notification applicable to the Un-Reserved/General Merit Candidates is as follows:
Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 37 Years.
Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit for Ex-Service-Men remains as explained in the Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2023 Notification.
The Candidates already in Government Service/Semi-Government Service/Corporation/Boards should apply through Proper Channel and Relaxation in Age for the Candidates already in Government Service shall be decided as per the Latest Instructions of the Chandigarh Administration.
Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Category are mentioned in the Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
Based on the Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2023 Advertisement issued, the Candidate should have the Prescribed Essential Qualifications prescribed hereunder:
The Applicant for the Post Junior Engineers (Electrical) in the Electrical Wing, Union Territory, Chandigarh:
i) Full-Time Regular Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any Duly Recognized Board/University/Institute.
Note*: Diploma obtained through Correspondence/Distance Education shall neither be considered as the Eligibility nor for Selection Criteria.
The Certificate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Skills Course, i.e., 80 Hours’ Duration Course on Computer Concept (CCC) from any India Government Recognized Institute/Any reputed ISO 9001 Certified Institution Or Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) of the Government of India Or from NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology) and its Authorized Institutions at the time of their Appointment shall have to be furnished by the Candidate.
The Candidates with Certificate/Diploma/Bachelor’s Or Master’s Degree in Computer Science in possession from any Duly Recognized Institutions/ University need not have the ICT Skills Course Certificate.
The Selection Criteria involved for Junior Engineer (Electrical) Posts shall be carried through based on the Computer Based Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions Test comprising 02 Sections for 100 Marks. The Objective-Type Written Test involves deduction of 0.25 (¼th) Marks for each wrong Answer/Multiple Answers. The Candidates’ Marks obtained in the Objective-Type MCQs Based Test shall yield Merit to be stipulated for Selection.
The Minimum Qualifying 45% Marks mandatory to be obtained in each Section; i.e., Section-I & Section-II yielding Merit. There shall be No Interview conducted.
As per the Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2023 Notification, the prescribed Application Fee to be remitted/paid by the Candidates through the Payment Gate explained [“Rupay” Debit Card and NEFT/RTGS(E-challan) Options available]
