The Chennai AIU on the information of specific intel by Directorate of Revenue Intelligence BZU, intercepted one male pax departing to Dubai by flight on 8th December 2021. After Examination, Saudi Riyal worth ₹19.79 lakh found ingeniously concealed in Vermicelli packets. The foreign currency seized under the Customs Act 1962, r/w FEMA 2002.

Based on specific intel by DRI BZU, Chennai AIU intercepted one male pax departing to Dubai by flight FZ-476 on 08.12.2021. On examination, Saudi Riyal worth ₹19.79 lakh found ingeniously concealed in Vermicelli packets. Currency seized under the Customs Act 1962, r/w FEMA 2002.
