Compliance of Directors issued by DDMA for Offices working under GNCT of Delhi
The Delhi Disaster Management Authority issued Order for Compliance of Directors for Offices working under GNCT of Delhi & involved in Non Essential services.
The Trade and Taxes Department will stay closed till further orders are issued in accordance with Delhi Disaster Management Authority Order no. F.60/DDMA/COVID-19/2021/504 dated 04.01.2022 issued on the subject listed above. The following instructions, however, must be followed by all officers and staff in the Department:-
1. All time-sensitive and urgent activities must be attended to.
Time-bound assessment, completion of proceedings, compliance and follow-up of High Court Orders and other Court proceedings, completion of insolvency proceedings, time-bound disposal of registration applications, action on notices of cancellation, revocation, and other such activities are examples of such activities. Concerned Officers should execute all such duties in a timely way while working from home, and if necessary, visit the office to ensure proper disposal within the stated timetable.
2. The CRU branch must guarantee that adequate personnel are on hand to accept the dak and files without delay. All dak and files addressed to the Commissioner (Trade and Taxes) will be immediately reported to his Personal Branch. Other critical data should be forwarded to the concerned officers' official email ids/ward-specific NIC email ids for prompt action.
3. Officers or personnel who come to the office for urgent or time-sensitive tasks will be assisted by the FM Branch. They will also guarantee that the premises are properly sanitised.
4. All Branch/Ward Officers/staff participating in the resolution of urgent and time-sensitive situations must keep their Officers informed of their progress and resolution.
5. The EDP/IT branch will guarantee that all Ward Officers' VPN connections to the OST and VAT Portals remain operational at all times, allowing the Wards to operate without interruption. The EDP branch will report on the status of active VPN access that has been applied, processed, or created on a daily basis. A team of technical staff will also be on hand to guarantee that Work from Home functionality for the DVAT and GST portals runs well.
All officers and workers who come to the office must maintain social distance and obey COVID guidelines at all times. While it is critical to take all steps to prevent the pandemic from spreading, the Department's operation cannot be jeopardised in the wider interest of society to maintain uninterrupted delivery of public services.
The foregoing directives were issued with Commissioner (T&T) approval and will stay in effect until additional orders are issued.
