Overview:

EY is hiring an experienced Software Asset Management Analyst at their Kochi location. The candidate be responsible for managing, controlling, and protecting the software assets managed by Enterprise Technology as well as developing/managing the overall ET VSOC process and associated vendor and contract asset information in Sirion systems.  As part of this you will assess software requirements, manage the software inventory, and manage assignment of functional contact owners/product alignment and associated processes to support this.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Partner with SCS to design, implement and optimise the VSOC (vendor-supplier oversight council) process for capturing, reporting on and resolving targeted requests for ET procurement purchases.
• Develop and maintain VSOC supporting templates and enablers.
• Work with SCS to integrate CT’s SGRB process into the Sourcing Request process.
• Work with SCS procurement team and SAM technical staff to automate processes to an appropriate level.
• Collaborate with purchase requestors and product manager for key information / completed templates prior to council attendance; understand ET purchase requirements, drivers, and strategic roadmaps, and how it supports potential prioritization of purchases.
• Schedule council meetings, document decisions and manage outcomes across ET stakeholders and participants.
• Ensure prioritized procurement activities align to current FY budget, collaborating with SCS, finance and business managers to validate and manage potential risks.
• Use contract and supplier management systems (Sirion, Ariba) to report out, prioritize and support management of contract renewal cycles and VSOC processes; collaborating and working with SCS to ensure ET requirements are fully supported
• Participate in supporting software asset management processes, including software procurement, license management, software installation, and compliance verification.
• Assist in verification of compliance with software licenses, contracts, and vendor agreements to prevent legal liability and financial losses.
• Use software asset management tools to monitor software usage and license allocation.
• Assist with software license optimization strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Keep up to date with industry developments, software licensing models, and regulatory changes in order to proactively manage risks.

• To qualify for the role, you must have
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience in software asset management, IT asset management, or a similar role.
• Detailed understanding of software licensing models and compliance requirements.
• Experience using software asset management tools and systems.
