Pay Scale III Rs.21700 to Rs.53000

Upper Age Limit:

General Category Candidates should be Minimum 18 Years and must not exceed 25 Years. Community-wise Upper Age Relaxations mentioned in the CSBC Recruitment Advertisement.

Educational Qualification:

i) Passed Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) from the Schools affiliated to Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB); Or ii) Certificate in Shastri (with English) or Acharya (without English) issued by Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board; Or iii) Maulvi Certificate issued by Bihar State Madrasa Education Board (BSMEB) Or Equivalent duly recognized by Bihar State.

Physical Standards:

Height: i) General Category: Male: 165 cms. ii) Extremely Backward Community: 160 cms. iii) Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes: 160 cms. iv) All Category and Community Female: 155 cms. ii) ST Male 162.5 & Female: 150 cms

Chest: General Male Candidates: Unexpanded 81 cms and Expanded 86 cms

EWS/OBC/SC Male Candidates: Unexpanded 81 cms and Expanded 86 cms

SC and ST Male Candidates: Unexpanded 79 cms and Expanded 84 cms

Weight: Minimum Weight 48 Kilograms in case of all Women belonging to their Category and Communities.

Physical Standards and Physical Measurement Tests Benchmarks for all Female Candidates of Kinnar/Kothi/ Eunuch/Transgender (Third Gender).

Selection Procedure:

Selection to the Post of Alcohol Prohibition Constable consists of 02 Stages; Stage 01) OMR Answer Sheet Based Written Examination followed by Stage 02) Physical Standards/Measurement Test of Qualifying Nature.

i) The OMR Answer Sheet Based Written Examination with 02-Hours’ Examination Duration comprises 100 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions for Aggregate 100 Marks. The Candidates having secured Minimum Qualifying 30 Marks (Qualifying nature) will be considered both for Physical Standard and Measurement Test. ii) The Physical Standard and Measurement Test also carry 100 Marks.

The Physical Standards and Measurement Test shall be held in i) Race: 50 Marks. ii) Shot-put: 25 Marks. iii) High Jump: 25 Marks

Merit List Preparation:

The Central Selection Board of Constable will prepare the Category-wise and Community-wise Merit List based on the Aggregate Marks obtain 03 Categories of Physical Standard and Measurement Test.
