CUET-PG 2024: Successful Conclusion with Record Participation

The Common University Entrance Test for Post Graduation (CUET-PG) concluded on March 28, marking a successful culmination of the examination as per schedule. According to Professor M. Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), a record-breaking number of 462,603 candidates appeared for the test this year. The examination was meticulously crafted with the assistance of approximately 950 experts and 200 translators who diligently prepared the question papers.

Key Highlights – CUET-PG 2024:

• A staggering 462,603 examinees participated in CUET-PG 2024, demonstrating a significant increase in interest and engagement. CUET (PG) facilitated admissions into postgraduate courses across various universities nationwide.
• The examination spanned 565 centers across 253 cities within India and extended to nine international cities including Manama, Dubai, and Kathmandu, reflecting its global outreach.
• Candidates applied for a diverse range of 4,597 courses through 157 different question papers, encompassing various disciplines.
• CUET (PG) was conducted entirely in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode by the National Testing Agency (NTA), ensuring efficiency and reliability in the assessment process.

CUET-UG 2024: While CUET-PG has concluded successfully, CUET-UG 2024 for undergraduate admissions is yet to take place. The deadline for online submission of CUET-UG applications has been extended to March 31, 2024, following requests from candidates and stakeholders.
