Department of Post Recruitment 2024: The Department of Post is accepting applications form desirous and willing candidates for the post of Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade). As mentioned in the official notification of the Department of Post Recruitment 2024, there are 05 openings to be filled for the given post. The period of deputation will not exceed 03 years. Drivers will have to drive heavy and light commercial vehicles for transportation of mail, cash, etc. No provision for reservation exists for the posts to be filled up on a deputation/absorption basis. The maximum age limit is not more than 56 years to apply for the Department of Post Recruitment 2024.
Candidates who have a valid Driving License for Light and Heavy Motor Vehicles are eligible to apply for the Department of Post. The chosen candidates will provided a monthly salary on the Pay Level-2 of Pay Band-I (Rs.5200-20200) in the pay matrix as per the 7th CPC. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the official notification of Department Post Recruitment 2024 can submit their duly filled application form along with the necessary documents to the Assistant Postmaster General (Recruitment), O/o Chief Postmaster General, J and K Circle, Meghdhoot Bhawan, Railhead Complex Jammu-180012 on or before the last date. Application received after the due date will be summarily REJECTED.
