UPSC Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited Online Applications from the Candidates Eligible for the Medical Officer (General Duty Medical Officer Sub-Cadre) Posts in the Department of Health & Family Welfare (DHFW), Government of NCT of Delhi, vide the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notification. The UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification has occurred with 234 Vacancies to be filled up in the Revised Pay Matrix Scale 10 (Rs. 15600-39100 (Pay Band-03) Plus Rs. 5400 ( Grade Pay) NPA as per Rules (Pre-Revised) Plus Usual Allowances. The UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification having arisen with 234 Vacancies Inclusive of 67 Vacancies earmarked for Un-Reserved Category Candidates for the Medical Officer (GDMO Sub-Cadre) Post under the Group ‘A’ Gazetted (Non-Ministerial), Delhi Health Services Post Classification is Permanent.
According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Employment Notification, the Willing and Eligible Candidates for the DFW Medical Officer (GDMO-Sub-Cadre) Post may complete the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) Process well ahead of the Crucial Date 01.06.2023 as per the Instructions prescribed therein. According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notification, the notified DHFW Medical Officer (GDMO-Sub-Cadre) Post shall be filled up in the Revised Pay Matrix Level 10 of the 7th Central Pay Commission in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of NCT of Delhi.

According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notice, those selected as Medical Officer (GMDO-Sub-Cadre), post-Appointment shall be entitled to Monthly Salary explained hereinunder:

As per the UPSC issued UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notification, the following Category-wise Age Limits are prescribed for the Candidates:
1) The Un-Reserved Applicant should not exceed 32 Years as on the Closing Date 01.06.2023
2) The Upper Age Limitation remains Relaxable for Regularly Appointed Central Government/Union Territory Government Servants up to 05 Years as per the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time.
3) For Age Concessions applicable to some other Categories of Applicants, the Applicants should refer to the relevant Paragraphs of the “Instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection” of the UPSC-issued DHFW Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement.
The Eligibility, in accordance with the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notification, comprising the Educational Qualification(s) and Experience essential narrated therein for the Applicants should be read as follows:
Essential Criteria:
The Willing Candidates with Eligibility should have the Eligibility comprising the Educational and Desirable Qualifications narrated hereunder:
A) Essential Qualification(s):
Educational:
i) Any Accredited MBBS Degree Qualification included in the First Schedule/Second Schedule Or Part II of the Third Schedule (Other than Licentiate Qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
Holders of Educational Qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the Conditions specified in Sub-Section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
ii) Completion of Compulsory Rotating Internship Candidates, who may not have completed the Rotating Internship, shall be Eligible to appear for the Written Examination provided that, if selected, they shall have Satisfactorily completed the Compulsory Internship before Appointment.
Note: The Qualifications and the Qualification with regard to the Experience in respect of the Candidates, otherwise well-qualified, are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission.
Based on the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification issued, the Union Public Service Commission shall carry out the Recruitment Test Selection with Other Criteria also explained hereunder:
Recruitment Methodology:
In the event of the Applications received relatively in large number from Applicants, the Union Public Service Commission will adopt the Shortlisting Criteria for restricting the number to only Eligible Candidates to be called in for the Interview to a Reasonable Number by Any or More of the Methodologies as mentioned hereunder:
a) “Based on the Desirable Qualification (DQ) or any one or all of the Desirable Qualifications (DQs), if more than one Desirable Qualification is prescribed”.
b) On the basis of Higher Educational Qualifications than the Minimum prescribed in the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.
c) Based on Higher Experience in the relevant field than the Minimum prescribed in the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement.
d) By reckoning the Prior Professional Work-Experience before or Post-acquired Essential Qualifications of the Candidate Applicants.
e) By invoking the Prior Work Experience even in cases where there is No Experience mentioned Either as Essential Qualification (EQ) Or as Desirable Qualification (DQ).
f) By holding a Recruitment Test (RT).
Note-II: Minimum Qualifying/Pass Marks:
As has been explained in the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notice, Viva-voce/Personality Test carries Total 100 Marks with the Minimum Qualifying/Pass Marks for Selection to be read hereunder:
I) The Category-wise Minimum Level of Suitability in the Interviews (100 Marks), irrespective of whether the Selection is conducted only through Interview or by holding a Recruitment Test (RT) to be followed by the Interview, shall remain as hereunder:
a) Un-Reserved (UR) Category: Minimum Qualifying 50 Marks to be secured out of Aggregate 100 Marks
b) Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 50 Marks
c) Other Backward Community: 45 Marks
d) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Caste/Persons with Benchmark Disability/ies (PwBD/s): 40 Marks.
II) In cases where Selection is carried through by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by the Personal Interview, the Candidate will have to attain the Minimum Level of Suitability in their respective Categories in the course of the Interview Stage.
Following is the Category-wise Application Fee and Payment Gateway for remittance by the Applicants:
I) The General Category/EWS/OBC Candidates shall have to pay the Application Fee Rs. 25.00 (Rupees Twenty-five only) only either by remitting the Money in any Branch of the State Bank of India in Cash or by using the Net-Banking Facility of the State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card Payment Gateway.
II) Reserved Community (SC/ST/PwBDs) and Women Candidates under any Community remain Exempted from payment of the Application Fee.
The UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification mandates the Willing and Eligible Candidates to complete the Online Recruitment Application. ii) Carefully Read the Online Application/Registration Instructions available on the UPSC ORA Portal.
iii) Initiate the Online Application Process as per the Instructions on the Online Registration Application Portal.
iv) Upload Scanned Signature, Photograph for uploading with Online Recruitment Application.
v) Upload Self-attested Documents on the UPSC Online Registration of Application.
vi) Remit the Application Fee Online through any of the Payment Gateways; viz., Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking, etc.
