According to the DOHFW Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, there are 05 Vacancies to be filled up on Ad-hoc/Emergent Basis explained hereunder:

A) Burari Hospital: Senior Resident Doctor Post:

01) Medicine Specialty Department: 03 Vacancies

02) Surgery Specialty Department: 01 Vacancy

B) Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital: Junior Resident Doctor Post:

01) Dental Specialty Department: 01 Vacancy

Monthly Salary under DOHFW Recruitment 2023:

According to the DOHFW Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Pay Scale with the Monthly Salary accruing to the Senior Resident Doctor and Junior Resident Doctor shall be as explained hereunder:

Senior Resident Doctor: The Pay Scale shall be in accordance with 7th CPC Guidelines as adopted by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Junior Resident Doctor: Pay Level 10 (Rs.56100-177500) Plus Allowances as Admissible and as per the Government of India Rules.

Maximum Age Limits for DOHFW Recruitment 2023:

Based on the DOHFW Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Age Limit as on the Closing Date/Walk-in Interview Date 25.04.2023 in respect of the Un-Reserved Category Candidate is as follows:

A) Senior Resident Doctor: Maximum 45 Years.

Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit for Reserved Community Candidates as per the Government Order.

B) Junior Resident Doctor: Maximum 30 Years.

Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit for Reserved Community Candidates as per the Government Order.

Eligibility Criteria for DOHFW Recruitment 2023:

According to the DOHFW Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Eligibility comprising Educational Qualification and Experience explained for Senior Resident Doctors’ and Junior Resident Doctor Posts are as follows:

01) Senior Resident Doctor Post:

Educational Qualification: A Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae (MB BCh)/Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with Post Graduate Degree/Diplomate of National Board (DNB)/Diploma or Equivalent as per Residency Scheme in the Concerned Specialty from any Duly Recognized University/Institute on the day of Interview.

Experience: Must not have completed 03 Years’ Senior Residency in any Recognized Institute including Regular or on Ad-hoc basis. Preference in Super-Specialty Branches shall be given to the Candidates having Super-Specialty Qualifications or Experience.

02) Junior Resident Doctor Post:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from any Duly Recognized University/Institute.

Experience: Must not have completed 06 Months’ Junior Residency in any Recognized Institute including Regular or on Ad-hoc basis.

Desirable: The Candidate must have been Registered with Delhi Dental Council (DDC)/Other State Council (SC).

Note*: The Individuals who have completed the Internship earlier than 10.03.2021 are Ineligible.

Selection Criteria under DOHFW Recruitment 2023:

Selection for Senior Resident Doctors and Junior Resident Doctor Posts shall be carried through by Walk-in Interviews.

Senior Resident Doctors:
The Selection Board/Medical Director shall carry through Selection on Senior Resident Doctor Posts based on Pure Merit. The Appointment and Services of Senior Resident Doctors would be governed under the Residency Scheme. The Total Tenure of Senior Resident Doctors will span Maximum 03 Years, which will also include any Senior Residency Tenure done in other Government/Government Funded Institutions (GFIs). Appointment on Senior Resident Doctor Posts will be initially for 89 Days or till a Regular Candidate joins, stands extendable up to Maximum 03 Years on the basis of the Incumbent’s Satisfactory Work and Conduct Report from the concerned Head of Department and Written Request issued by the Senior Resident Doctor Concerned.

A Panel of Waitlisted Candidates will be prepared for filling up the Senior Resident Doctor Post against the Vacancies arising in the future. The Panel shall remain Valid for 06 Months or till a Fresh Selection Process is carried out, whichever is earlier. The Seats are Inter-convertible between/among the Branches.

Note: In case of non-availability of MD/DNB Certificate, the Candidates having 02 Years’ Experience in the Concerned Department will be considered for the Post.
