According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, there are 06 vacancies open for the post of Research Associate and Junior Research Fellowship under the discipline of Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Age Limit for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for the post of Research Associate is 35 years and for the post of JRF is 28 years.

Qualification and Experience for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the required qualifications and experience are mentioned below-

For Research Associate in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering-

• Ph.D. in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering having expertise related to composite material-based structural design and analysis, optimization of Airframe Design by using new simulation techniques and automation in the structural design process. Or
• M.E / M.Tech in the first division in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering having 03 years of research, teaching or design and development experience after M.E./M. Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed Journal.

Desirable–

• Knowledge in composite material-based structural design and analysis, optimization of airframe design by using new simulation techniques and automation in the structural design process.

For Research Associate in Electronics and Communication Engineering-

• Ph.D. in Electronics/Microwaves having expertise related to the design and testing of AESA antennas/low observable technologies. Or
• M.E / M. Tech in the first division in any discipline related to Electronics, Communication, Microwaves and RF have 03 years of research, teaching or design and development experience after M.E/M. Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed Journal.

Desirable-

• Knowledge in EM Design, Simulation and modeling of FSS, Radar Absorbers, Radomes and AESA Antennas.

For Junior Research Fellowship in Electronics & Communication Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering-

• B.E / B.Tech in First Division with qualified and valid GATE score. Or
• M.E / M.Tech, with First Division both at Graduate and Post Graduate levels.

Salary for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

Selected candidates will get a monthly salary as mentioned below-

• The selected candidates for the post of Research Associate will get a monthly salary of Rs.54000.
• The selected candidates for the post of JRF will get a monthly salary of Rs.31000.

Tenure for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the appointment for JRF is initially for a period of 02 years but may be extended as per rules and the post of Research Fellowship is only for a period of 02 years.

Selection Process for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, candidates should be selected on the basis of screening test and interview. Screening Test may be held for JRF Vacancies only on 09 May 2023 and based on the number of candidates shortlisted, an interview may continue on 10 May 2023. The interview will be held for the post of Research Associate on 11.04.2023.

Venue of Screening test and Interview will be held at the place of ADE, DRDO, Raman Gate, Suranjandas Road, New Thippasandra Post, Bengaluru-560075. Candidates will be permitted through Raman Gate only (Reporting time 08:00-08:30 AM on 09 May 2023 for JRF and 08:00- 08:30 AM on 11 May 2023 for Research Associate).
